Cornish Pirates’ acting CEO, Josh Lewsey, has been named a special guest speaker at Unlocking Potential’s upcoming Connect event.
The new business conference delivers workshops and seminars along with keynote talks for business owners and managers, graduate employees, graduate jobseekers as well as undergraduate students.
Lewsey, a Rugby World Cup winner who won 55 caps for England and also represented the British Lions, will deliver a special workshop on high performing teams.
Programme director, Allyson Glover, said: “We’re excited by Josh’s passion and vision for inspiring young people here in Cornwall and very impressed with how he uses his experience and expertise gained from his professional and sporting career, applying that very practically in all of his new pursuits.
“It’s a real bonus for the businesses and graduates attending to have access to this local and national hero in the shape of an exciting and interactive workshop.”
The conference, on September 11, is one of the largest events to be held at the new St Austell Business Park, with more than 120 delegates expected to attend over the course of the day.
