There is still time to book a ticket for next week’s Inspiring Female Entrepreneurship conference, which will feature a key note speech from Michelle Mone OBE.
Mone, from east Glasgow, left school at 15 with no qualifications, yet was running a sales and marketing team by the age of 20, setting up MJM International at 25.
She then started Ultimo, which become the first UK lingerie brand to debut on the catwalk at New York Fashion Week, and was voted the UK’s number one woman in business in January 2010 by Glamour magazine.
Founder and director of event organiser Leading Women UK, Rachel Jones, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Michelle to Cornwall and Devon to speak to our local entrepreneurs.
“Michelle is an incredible woman with a story that will inspire all delegates to achieve their potential – we couldn’t think of a more successful businesswoman and personality to speak at our conferences, celebrating female entrepreneurship.”
