Jo Fairley will make a special appearance at the Cornwall Chamber-organised event on Wednesday, May 15.

The fair, taking place at the new Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre in Truro, will see Fairley deliver a speech on how she built the business to be the success it is today. The seminar will have a special emphasis on exporting and international trading, courtesy of event sponsor Export Cornwall.

Chamber chief executive, Kim Conchie, said: “We are thrilled to have Jo Fairley join us for this momentous event celebrating enterprise here in Cornwall.

“This year’s fair is particularly poignant as we approach the milestone of 25 years of Cornwall Chamber supporting businesses here in Cornwall. Working with UKTI we are excited to bring Jo to Cornwall to share her entrepreneurial wisdom with the thriving business community.”

The Cornwall Business Fair forms part of the Cornwall Business Week celebrations, with Cornwall Business Awards taking place on May 16, another of the highlights.

This year’s business fair is hosted by Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and supported by ERDF Convergence-funded Outset Cornwall, Export Cornwall and The Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre.

Raymond Gore, service development manager at UTKI, added: “The UKTI are very pleased to welcome Jo Fairley as a speaker, on behalf of the Export Cornwall network here in Cornwall. Not only is she a highly successful entrepreneur, journalist and speaker, but has an impressive story to relate highlighting the opportunities to Cornish businesses in international trade.”
