Local businesses are being invited to a day of free talks and workshops showing them how they can promote the green agenda to their customers.

The event, which is being held at the Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI) at Tremough on April 19, will focus on the issue of climate change and how businesses can communicate their environmental messages more effectively.

Workshops will be run to help businesses better understand how they can utilise social media and branding to get the right message out.

Jodie West, ESI research and knowledge exchange manager, said: “The day will provide a great opportunity for attendees to network with likeminded businesses and potential clients as well as taking part in workshops and hearing from a range of guest speakers, university researchers and PhD students about their work in the area.”
