Agricultural businesses will have an opportunity to hear the latest developments in the rural sector this month, at a free event in Wadebridge.

Stephens Scown, Stags and Francis Clark will be joining together to provide an update at the evening event at the Pavilion Centre on January 23.

Gareth Rowe and Andrew Ransom of Stags will give an update on farming and the land covering the different ways to occupy land, capital and rental values, the relative benefits of buying and renting and an update on the Single Payment Scheme.

Francis Clark’s Robert Cowie and Brian Harvey will discuss cost and profit, covering how farmers can control, influence and improve the costs and profit of their farming business.

And Christian Wilson of Stephens Scown’s corporate team, will discuss incorporating farm businesses.

Phil Reed, head of Stephens Scown’s rural team, said: “This will be a great opportunity for farmers and agricultural businesses to hear about the latest developments. I’m delighted to be able to join forces with Stags and Francis Clark to provide such a comprehensive update for our guests.”
