Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall will be hosting a PR breakfast for communications professionals who work in, or on behalf of the charity sector on Wednesday 10th October.

The event will provide an exciting networking opportunity for south west charities and local businesses, and includes speakers from some of the region’s most successful charitable organisations, covering a range of specialist topics.

Speakers from Cornish based charities, Surfers Against Sewage, Shelterbox, the RNLI and Fifteen Cornwall will present some tasty tips on how to deliver effective PR campaigns on a small budget. Topics will include; crisis PR and responding to the news agenda, effective campaigning, how to best use communication volunteers, use of frontline footage and how to include charitable aims within successful PR campaigns

Fifteen Cornwall’s CEO, Matthew Thomson said:

‘We’re delighted to host this event where experienced Cornish PR professionals can pass on their knowledge to like-minded individuals. The event also provides a unique opportunity to network whilst sharing ideas and collaboration and we’re very much looking forward to it.’

The event aims to provide ideas and inspiration – helping charities and businesses make the most of their time and resources. It will provide a rare opportunity to tap into the tactics and skills used by four of the south west’s most popular and well supported charities. Following the speakers, there will be a chance to network over breakfast cooked by the Fifteen Cornwall chefs, in a stunning location overlooking Watergate Bay.
