A hat-trick of business events is taking place in Newquay tomorrow (January 19).

The Agile Breakfast, a free event taking place in the morning between 8am and 9am at the Bay Hotel, is aimed at anybody involved with a forthcoming IT project. Existing Agile practitioners will share knowledge and offer insight into adopting Agile to improve IT and software solutions.

Agile guru Allan Kelly will deliver a keynote speech titled ‘What is this Agile thingy?’ that will deliver an overview for delegates of all experience levels. Toby Parkins of UK Netweb will also talk about Agile methods and highlight ways to deal with common project management issues.

The breakfast is followed by the Collaborate Cornwall conference at the Lighthouse Cinema, which will highlight the advantages that working together can bring for businesses in the county.

Once the conference has finished, another important business event takes place. Those interested in the world of mobile marketing and advertising should head back to the Bay Hotel where the 2012 Bitesize Mobile mini-conference will be held between 5pm and 7pm.

The Bitesize Mobile event will bring delegates up to speed with recent advances in the mobile marketing sector and will offer local case studies containing innovative applications of the medium. Industry experts will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions about the world of mobile.

The events, run by business growth specialist YTKO on behalf of the Convergence-funded Partner to Succeed programme, will offer delegates a perfect opportunity to network with like-minded business people from across the county.

The Bay Hotel is a 30-minute walk or five-minute drive away from the Lighthouse Cinema, meaning delegates will be able to swiftly switch between all three events. Parking is available on-site at the Bay Hotel.
