Help for ‘real life entrepreneurs’

Cornwall Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is holding an event next month aimed at encouraging ‘Real Life Entrepreneurs’.

The event, which is being held at St Mellion International on Wednesday December 7, will feature ‘The Beermat Entrepreneur’, Michael Southon, as the guest speaker.

Southon, who pens a weekly column in the Financial Times, is touring the country with a presentation entitled ‘Championing the UK’s Real-Life Entrepreneurs’.

The presentation will focus on the key elements of what makes a successful entrepreneur, including how to; increase the routes to finance, improve cash-flow, adopt a new approach to regulation , reduce and simplify business tax , incentivise job creation and open up export markets.

FSB Cornwall development manager, Ann Vandermeulen said: “Cornwall FSB is delighted to bring this tour to St Mellion. It is open to any business needing realistic, simple ideas that they can implement now.
