Cornwall College Business is hosting a free conference next week for people working in the construction industry wanting to know more about the renewable energy sector.
The two-hour event on November 2 (8.30am), held in Cornwall College Camborne’s Built Environment department, is designed to give builders, plumbers and electricians access to the knowledge and qualifications they need to install solar panels and other environmental technologies.
“Cornwall is well placed to offer training in this area,” said Justin Olosundé from Cornwall College. “The specialist facilities on our campus sites give tradespeople the chance to get up close with the new technologies to see how they work and learn how to install them.”
Delegates will also be offered access to up to £500 to help pay for the cost of their training, subject to funding eligibility.
