The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) chairman, Chris Pomfret, will be addressing members of Cornwall’s Senior Executives’ Forum (SEF) next week.

Pomfret has been invited to meet members of SEF by Cornwall College, which hosts the forum four to five times a year.

“The LEP is an exciting opportunity for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly,” said Dave Linnell, Cornwall College Principal. “Our members are all thrilled that the region has been selected for additional support and investment and I’m very much looking forward to hearing from Chris Pomfret the plans for the short and medium term in the region.”

Cornwall Council chief executive Kevin Lavery will be speaking budgets at a special SEF meeting in October, while Tim Jones, chair of the Devon Economic Partnership, will present at the meeting in February 2012.

If you’re interested in becoming a member of the SEF, you can request an application form by contacting organiser Tracey Johnson.
