A major conference bringing together experts from business and public sector will explore the benefits of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) in the workplace at Eden later this year.

Staged by St Agnes-based Evolution Personal and Corporate Development, NLP At Work (September 30) will present the business applications of the practice made famous by the likes of Paul McKenna and Derren Brown.

NLP is a system of techniques that can be used to affect behaviour, implement organisational change and improve communication. It has been used widely in therapy, psychology and social science but increasing numbers of business leaders are now using the practice to achieve success.

Evolution director Martin Crump commented: “The tool and techniques of NLP can really help in a business context and we wanted to show how it can help in a wide range of organisations. We have collected a number of presenters from a wide range of business backgrounds to tell their stories.”

Refreshments and lunch are provided and ticket price includes a day’s pass to the Eden Project for Saturday following the conference. Discounts available if you book before August 1.
