The week will see a number of events and seminars, showcasing the best of Cornish business.

Among the many highlights will be the Business Fair, hosted by Cornwall Chamber, being held on Truro’s Lemon Quay on May 18.

The following evening will see the sixth annual Cornwall Business Awards at St Mellion International, which is expected to be attended by more than 300 of the county’s leading business people.

Nick Blandford, business services manager at CDC, commented: “Cornwall Business Week is a great opportunity to not only showcase the business success that exists in the county, but also provide the opportunity for businesses to network and establish what support and expertise is out there that could benefit their business.”

Carolyn Rule, Cornwall Council’s cabinet member for economy and regeneration added: “I am delighted to be supporting Cornwall Business Week. The Council has a key role to play in ensuring effective public and private sector partnership stimulates growth in the local economy.
