Cornish firm Harland Accountants has announced that its annual charity golf day will be in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care at Falmouth Golf Club on Thursday July 22.

Teams of four will tee off from midday and play Four Ball Stableford rules with prizes for the winners, runners-up and third place. There is also a host of additional competitions including nearest the pin and longest drive.

Entry costs £100 for each team and includes a two course post-match meal. Half of all the fees will be donated to Cornwall Hospice Care with a target of raising a minimum of £1000.

Simon Foxhall, Harland Accountants director said: “We took a poll across all the Harland offices and I’m delighted to announce that Cornwall Hospice Care came out on top as this year’s chosen charity.

“The Harland Accountants charity golf day is always great fun and attracts a wide range of different players and abilities. It doesn’t matter whether you play off three, thirty or wear a sombrero everybody is welcome.”
