Local businesses are being offered a 25% discount to attend a web conference at the Eden Project, featuring internationally respected speakers later this month.
Visitors will get the opportunity to hear top international guest speakers including JavaScript expert Jeremy Keith and long-established podcaster Paul Boag who will be accompanied by four other speakers giving presentations throughout the day.
The conference – Bamboo Juice – takes place on April 24 and is being run by Richard Quick Design. Creative director Richard Quick explained: “These conferences have been going on for years in the rest of the country. We wanted to give local businesses in Cornwall and Devon the chance to hear from established speakers.”
Tickets cost £75 and include entry to Eden, access to all the guest speakers and an invite to an exclusive after party being held in the Mediterranean BioDome.
There will also be a chance for visitors to give short presentations on what they learnt while working in the web design field in ‘Picnics’ being held around the site.
