A new residential lettings agency for mid Cornwall has opened – FAC Properties Ltd.
Providing find-only and fully-managed services, the company has been formed by Andrew Harvey, managing director of The Financial Advice Centre (FAC). The new office and administration centre is based at the FAC office in Par, and already offers a wide and varying range of property to let across Mid Cornwall, with an initial focus on Par and St Austell.
As a landlord himself, Harvey says he understands the issues, worries and challenges of owning rental property. He commented: “There has been an increase in both supply and demand in the market over recent months and there is now an even greater need for good communication channels, no-nonsense services, well-planned marketing and realistic fees. FAC Properties will prove extremely good value for money for both tenants and landlords, with additional benefits such as free legal protection.”
The agency is registered with a Tenancy Deposit Scheme provided by a Government-appointed company partly owned by The National Landlord’s Association, to protect tenant’s deposit monies, and is a member of the National Approved Lettings Scheme (NALS) as well as the Ombudsman for Estate Agents (OEA) for extra guarantee and peace of mind.
A launch event will be held at the FAC office at Hamleys Corner on Eastcliffe Road in Par on Wednesday 19th November, at 7:30pm. Guests will be welcomed by the team at FAC, and a number of experts will be on hand to answer any questions about Gas Safety checks and servicing, electrical safety and testing and Energy Performance Certification, which became compulsory for rental property last month.
