A Penryn-based IT support company came to the rescue of a local school recently that had been left without internet access.

Calstock Community Primary School turned to NCI Technologies having being stuck without access for more than two weeks after its provider had failed to reconnect them.

And within two working days, NCI not only had the internet up and running again, it also connected the school to superfast broadband.

It was the fastest internet services connection to-date for NCI and director Andy Trish said: “Being able to rescue a school from a situation that they had given up hope on with such a good service gives all the staff at NCI a great feeling. We are very proud of what we have achieved in such a short time and wish the staff and pupils at Calstock school many years of safe and fast internet surfing.”
