Local businesses across the region are being asked for their feedback on a new website from Cornwall College Business (CCB).

The new site, launched this week, includes a funding eligibility checker, so businesses can find out what financial support is available to help them train their staff.

As well as the funding checker and details of hundreds of courses, the new website includes free business tips, over 100 case studies from clients and businesses from the region, and video profiles of learners and trainers.

“The new website will make it easier for businesses to be able to quickly access information about the hundreds of training opportunities available in Cornwall and Devon,” explained Head of CCB, Tamsyn Harris. “There are over 100 case studies from local businesses highlighting the impact of training on their businesses and video profiles from the trainers who deliver the programmes. We will also be adding short video tutorials to the site on areas such as employment law, management, web design, business finance and marketing.”

The site has case studies of work done with local companies such as Tulip Foods, Winter Rule Accountants, Cornwall Care, Warrens Bakery, Imerys, Ginsters, Pendennis Shipyard and St Austell Brewery.

There are also case studies and videos of apprentices from different sectors. You can apply for a course online, as well as see job vacancies at Cornwall College and apprentice vacancies across the region.
