Cornish creative businesses from sole trading jewellers through to small soap production companies are being given the opportunity to exhibit at one of the UK’s leading retail trade shows.

The Export for Growth initiative, which is being delivered in Cornwall by the Chamber of Commerce, has secured a ‘Cornwall Style’ stand at the Top Drawer exhibition taking place at London’s Olympia, from January 14-16, and is seeking 15 local businesses to take with them.

Top Drawer is one of the UK’s leading trade shows in the Home, Gift, Fashion and Craft sectors, attracting buyers from all over the world.

International creative business engagement officer, Dawn Musgrave, said: “Exhibiting for the first time at such a high profile event can be daunting for creative sector businesses, many of whom are operating as sole traders. We decided to give them the opportunity to exhibit as part of a group, which offers them the support many SMEs feel they need.”
