The Play Planetarium by Science Play has been named overall winner in the Outdoor Toys and Equipment sector at the Primary Teacher Awards 2013.
Amy Charman, who only launched the St Austell-based play equipment manufacturer last year, said: “We are so proud of this award, which recognises our belief that children possess a natural inquisitiveness about science that needs to be encouraged and nurtured and that outdoor play equipment and classrooms will enhance the interest and learning of science and nature.
“We are currently talking to international distributors and clients and are working on a number of fascinating bespoke projects in the UK and this award will enhance our reputation as creators of quality, creative play equipment.”
