Profits up at Aawen

Despite the difficult economy, Truro-based design agency Aawen Design Studio has seen profits rise through three successive quarters.

The last three quarters of 2011 has seen an increase in gross profit by an average of 56% per quarter when compared to the same period last year.

Creative director Adrian Taylor said: “Aawen’s sales and profits are both up despite the challenging economic climate.

“During this time we have seen a steady stream of website and brand development work. Most significantly, we have seen a return to favour of traditional printed literature, as many companies return to this tried and tested method of direct communication with their market.”
