Falmouth-based design and build company 20/20 has joined forces with international manufacturing giant Yamazaki Mazak to create a new exhibition centre at its European headquarters in Worcester.

Among the exhibits on show are a Tour de France carbon fibre racing bike, a Formula One McLaren steering wheel and a model wind turbine.

Mazak – the world’s largest supplier of CNC lathes, machining centres and manufacturing systems – wanted an exhibition showcasing how its machines play a vital role in different areas of our everyday life.

The exhibition included five different zones; transport and automotive, human performance, aerospace, lifestyle and energy.

20/20 managing director, Jaimie Sibert, said: “It was an incredibly ambitious project for a very high profile client.

“We worked closely with them to create a series of eye-catching and informative displays to illustrate the breadth of their product range.

“Within the exhibition we’ve included a huge range of subject matter from skiing and ice-skating to fashion accessories and clothing templates.”

As part of the exhibition, 20/20 produced contemporary and innovative interpretation exhibition spaces with LCD screens and high-tech plinths displaying everything from an aircraft wheel to the propeller from a Sunseeker boat.
