Based at the £6.2million St Austell Business Park (SABP), St Austell Conference Centre has welcomed 3,906 delegates through its doors since April 2013, attending 164 separate events at the venue.

And the centre is set for a bumper year in 2014, with 108 events having already taken place between January and April attracting more than 2,310 delegates.

Beth Mayman, SABP’s conference manager, said: “We’re impressed at how our space has caught the attention of businesses, organisations and event managers during the past year.

“We knew we had something different to offer – a BREEAM Excellent rated building with incredible views across mid Cornwall, in part of the county that combines industry, innovation and unique heritage.

“We’ve had really complimentary feedback, with people saying how simple the booking process is and how our location makes us an ideal venue. Delegates love the free parking.

“We’ve hosted everything from small meetings and workshops to full-scale conferences for 120 people.

“We’re part of one of the largest private sector commercial property developments in Cornwall, so our centre offers lots of inspiration by being based within a thriving business park.”

St Austell Business Park & Conference Centre opened in March 2013, having been built to BREEAM Excellent standard. The development received funding from ERDF Convergence.
