Cornwall Air Ambulance is celebrating 30 years of saving lives in 2017. It’s an incredible milestone, given every mission ever flown has been funded by the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
If that wasn’t enough, the Cornwall Air Ambulance was the very first in the UK, another example of early innovation from our county, a theme which continues today by being at the cutting edge of clinical care, and driving quality with our air ambulance colleagues across the country. As you would expect, for Cornwall Air Ambulance, the next year will be a busy one for PR and marketing activities.
Tomorrow, and every day, as many as three people in Cornwall could have an unexpected life threatening accident, or be taken critically ill. For them and their families, tomorrow will be the worst day of their lives. Your business, your staff, customers and suppliers, and most importantly you, can keep families together and help save lives.
Your corporate gift, your donation of time, skills and resources, your sponsorship package, will help provide a life-saving service for people in Cornwall at their time of need. In the golden hour, critical care paramedics and doctors will bring urgent care found in the hospital emergency department, right to the patient. For the patient and their family and friends, the sound of the helicopter coming brings a feeling of sheer and utter relief. Very seriously sick and injured patients can be flown direct to the hospital which offers care for major trauma, burns or deals especially with children.

The gold silver and bronze packages are designed to give every business an opportunity to come on board.
The gold packages are very exclusive with only four limited edition packages available. These are not cheap. But then neither is saving lives. As well as other benefits, your business brand will take pride of place alongside three other decals, on the Cornwall Air Ambulance Helicopter. This means your logo will be associated with Cornwall’s best loved life saving charity, and will be seen by thousands of people at key events, as well as over 700 emergency flights to all corners of Cornwall.
The silver packages cover the opportunity to sponsor items including medical equipment, flying suits, and the car used by the volunteer manager who covers almost 20,000 miles a year in Cornwall looking after the awesome army of over 250 Cornwall Air Ambulance volunteers in the community, giving your brand great exposure.
The bronze packages offer the chance to sponsor a wide range of resources to help pump-prime and drive community fundraising, including the new 360 virtual flight experience film; benefits include 30 seconds in the film, your brand on google cardboard viewers, and sets of professional VR viewers.
These are examples, but there are other sponsorship opportunities available, and more coming later on during 2017.

If your business prefers pure CSR, that’s great too. The Cornwall Air Ambulance 30 for 30 campaign in 2017 invites you and your staff to fundraise in the traditional sense. Cycle 30 miles, give up wine for 30 days, organise a raffle with 30 prizes. The list is endless (and may include things which are almost impossible!).
