Primark has made a donation of £2.5k to the Mayor of Truro’s official charity, Robert Owen Communities (ROC), to mark the occasion of the opening of its new Truro store.

ROC supports local people with learning disabilities; all services are geared to the promotion of social and work place inclusion.

Paul Deakin, ROC’s Cornwall manager said: “ROC is in an exciting period of development, as we strive to create the kind of life opportunities we can so easily take for granted, especially in the world of work.

“However, ROC is increasingly dependent on the community to improve the effectiveness of our services. Hence our sincere gratitude to Primark for this tremendous donation.”
