A handful of places still remain to take part in this year’s ROC 5K charity fun run in Truro.

The event, on the evening of June 28, raises funds for ROC Welcome, a vibrant social club for vulnerable local people with learning disabilities based at Truro College.

Last year’s ROC 5K, which starts and finishes on Lemon Quay, was a sell-out occasion, with 400 community-spirited individuals and teams from all over the county taking part, raising more than £13k.

For this year’s event, the entry limit has been raised to 500. People of all abilities can run, jog or walk the scenic route. The minimum age is 11.
