A St Agnes brewery is welcoming back an old favourite to raise money for its chosen charity of the year.

The Driftwood Spars will be brewing and selling the popular ‘Red Mission’ real ale as part of its campaign to raise funds for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

“After witnessing their incredible work first hand, we are delighted to choose Cornwall Air Ambulance is our 2016 charity of the year,” said Lou Treseder, landlady at The Driftwood Spars.

“We are even more excited to bring back one of our most popular ales as part of our fundraising mission.”

Using flavours chosen by Cornwall Air Ambulance, the rich red ale, Red Mission, was created with “hints of chocolate and caramel”.

Driftwood Spars will donate 10p from each pint sold, and 25p from each bottle, to the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

Cornwall Air Ambulance promotes a message of responsible drinking, so the beer has been brewed with a low percentage.
