The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has organised two charity events giving Cornwall’s businesses the chance to go head to head in battles of brain and brawn.
On Thursday July 2, Cornwall Chamber will host a networking quiz night at Driftwood Spars in St Agnes to support the Alzheimer’s Society.
After networking over a pasty and a pint, teams of four will attempt to answer quiz questions put to them by BBC Radio Cornwall’s Daphne Skinnard.
There will be a prize for the winning team, losing team, best team name and a range of other accolades.
The quiz night starts at 6pm and billed finish time is 8pm. To book, click here.
The chamber will challenge the business community again on July 24, as teams of professionals take on the mighty BF challenge.
BF Adventure is a registered charity which helps disadvantaged and disabled children and adults to believe in themselves and gain the skills and accreditations to succeed at school or to find employment.
The day starts with a BF breakfast at the Falmouth-based charity headquarters, which anyone can attend. After breakfast, those who are taking part in the challenge day will take to their rafts and attempt to complete a series of team activities across BF Adventure’s four quarries and 60 acres of land.
Commenting on last year’s BF Challenge, Morveth Ward, business development manager at Business Cornwall, said: “The BF Adventure Challenge day is a breath of fresh air – literally!
“A chance to see who in the business community has the capacity to work off instinct and common sense; all while having a great, fun day and working together as a team.”
