The Hall for Cornwall (HfC) is hoping to access a pot of funding to support its #HFCYouth Arts Award project and is asking the people of Cornwall for its help.

HfC wants to raise £4.8k through the Aviva Community Fund, so everyone taking part in this year’s #HFCYouth programme has the opportunity to gain an Arts Award accreditation.

But in order to access this funding, the Hall needs to get as many votes as it can on its Aviva Community Fund page so it can have the best chance of getting through to the finals.

Voting is open until the end of the month and everyone gets ten votes which can be cast at any time during the voting phase.

Projects with the most votes will become finalists and go through to the judging panel. The three highest ranking entries after judging will win funding. Winners are announced on June 30.

Supporting this challenge is Truro-based independent financial adviser, Worldwide Financial Planning.

Jowdy Davey, HfC’s head of fundraising, thanked Worldwide for backing the campaign and said: “Projects that are entered by a local financial advisor stand an even better chance of securing funding in the finals.

“We’re enormously grateful to our Corporate Friends Worldwide Financial Planning who have given their full support to the #HFCYouth Arts Award project.”
