£39k was raised at this year’s Macmillan Christmas Fair – the biggest amount in the event’s 23-year history.
Caroline Tetley, chairman of the Cornwall Macmillan Christmas Fair, said: “The total sum raised this year really is quite staggering and I know I speak for the Macmillan Cancer Support team in Cornwall when I say how vitally important charitable donations are to help ensure support services can continue to run.”
