A group of Ginsters employees, including several members of the senior management team, are training hard for the Tri Moor Cycle Challenge in aid of children’s charity CHICKS.

(L-R): Richard Hemming (customer marketing controller), Liz Cane (senior financial analyst), Mark Duddridge (MD), Jo Hartop (head of corporate and communications), Debra Lloyd-Greame (company cashier); Debbie Moore (sales ledger supervisor) and Shaun Galloway (financial director).

The Ginsters team, which includes MD Mark Duddridge, will join over a dozen other cyclists in the event which starts in Ilfracombe on September 13.

Cyclists will cross three moors, travelling from the north coast of Devon to the south coast of Cornwall over two days.

Head of corporate communications at Ginsters, Jo Hartop, said: “Ginsters has been supporting CHICKS for 14 years and we’re delighted to be part of their first ever Tri Moor Cycle Challenge.

“We’ve assembled a real cross functional team for the event which has been great for internal team building. We are taking our training very seriously, as 122 miles is no walk in the park!”

CHICKS is a children’s charity that provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged children, giving many their first experience of the countryside.
