Rick Stein and Jill Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in Padstow has raised a record £12,250 for Save the Children.

Charity lunches were held throughout January and February and saw nearly 4,000 diners in four weeks enjoy a specially devised three course lunch. The amount raised by customers exceeds the 2013 amount of £11k.

The Seafood Restaurant has been supporting Save the Children for 13 years and has helped raise over £80k for the charity.

Executive chef, Jack Stein, commented: “It has been another record breaking year for our charity lunches. We are very proud to support such a great charity that saves the lives so many children both here in the UK and across the world.”
