A new service has been launched to help social enterprises in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly submit stronger bids and win more contracts.

Social Enterprise Focus, with funding from the ERDF Convergence Programme, is being delivered by Peninsula Enterprise in association with Cornwall School for Social Entrepreneurs.

Social Enterprise Focus development manager, Anna Peachey, said: “We are here to help social enterprise businesses prepare and pitch for the right contract opportunities at the right time and in the right way so they can secure new contracts and grow.”

Cornwall School for Social Entrepreneurs’ chief executive, Sally Heard, added: “There is no shortage of talent, skills and knowledge within the social entrepreneurial community but we want to provide the support so that contract opportunities within the Duchy and further afield, are seized, and bids are robust and successful.”
