The Polgoon Vineyard in Penzance has created a new red berry cider in aid of its chosen charity.

Five pence from every bottle of Heli-Berry sold will go The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

Polgoon winemaker and company director, John Coulson, said: “The idea for the drink obviously came from the famous red helicopter that performs such vital work, but we were especially excited to try and marry the right blend of berries to not only give a rich colour, but most importantly to a produce really nice drink.”

Cornwall Air Ambulance funding manager, Susie Smith, added: “We are extremely grateful to everyone at Polgoon for their support and are very pleased with the result.”
