Local telecommunications and photocopier company Datasharp is feeling rather proud of its staff.

The Datasharp '£ 4 lb' team

Over the past year, several members of staff have taken part in ‘£ 4 lb club’ to help raise money for local charity Children’s Hospice South West for Little Harbour.

For every pound lost in weight, Datasharp put a pound in cash towards Little Harbour and for every pound gained, the individual put a £1 towards the charity.

Over the course of the year, Datasharp collectively lost 62lb’s but more importantly raised an impressive £928.00 for Little Harbour.

Datasharp’s Pam Croydon said: “We are so delighted to have raised this much money for Little Harbour. Losing the weight has just been an added bonus!”

Bernadette Thoreau, from Hospice South West, commented: “Thank you so much to Datasharp, the ‘£4lb’ is a fantastic fund raising idea and the money raised will help us continue our work of looking after local families with a child with a life limiting condition at our new children’s hospice, Little Harbour.”
