Bodmin-based ReZolve has been shortlisted for the Social Enterprise of the Year Award in England.

The awards, to be held at the end of March, are to celebrate the work and achievements of the UK’s most inspiring and successful social enterprises.

In addition to Rezolve being up for the top award, chief executive Jon Rolls has also been shortlisted in the Social Enterprise Leader of the Year category.

ReZolve, which is the only south west-based organisation to have been shortlisted, manages both environmental and social projects including the furniture reuse centre RE:SOURCE and training programmes including ReZolve Skills and the Environmental Skills Network.

Rolls commented: “Being shortlisted for the Social Enterprise of the Year Award really helps to confirm that what we are doing is right for Cornwall. There are lots of fantastic social enterprises in the county and we are proud to work alongside and with many of them. Hopefully we can fly a flag for a thriving third sector in Cornwall and the south west.”
