In 2009 Hall for Cornwall will play host to two of Kneehigh’s world-class productions – the hugely successful West End version of Noel Coward’s Brief Encounter and their highly-anticipated new production Don John.
Hall for Cornwall’s Development Officer Hannah Beech said: “Kneehigh produce consistently fantastic shows that regularly sell out at Hall for Cornwall, so we are really excited to be collaborating with them on this project. Working together we are able to offer our corporate partners a sponsorship package which goes above and beyond anything we could achieve individually.”
Don John will play at HfC from February 3rd – 7th and is produced in conjunction with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Following a very successful extended run at the Cinema Haymarket in London’s West End, Brief Encounter will tour to HfC in April playing from the 20th – 25th. Both shows are expected to sell out at HfC, attracting an audience of over 13,000 people from all over Cornwall.
“We’re delighted to be working with the Hall for Cornwall on this unique partnership. Don John and Brief Encounter will be touring across the UK, but we can’t wait to bring them back to Cornwall to perform to our most loyal and enthusiastic audiences here in our home town. This is an unrivalled opportunity for businesses to reach potential customers and clients by supporting two of Cornwall’s leading arts organisations,” said Victoria Hutchinson, Kneehigh’s Development Manager.
Sponsorship packages will involve a combination of branding, promotion and hospitality benefits alongside rare ‘behind the scenes’ events. Companies interested in finding out more about this unique opportunity are invited to contact either Hannah or Victoria using the details below:
