Entries are now open for the Cornwall Teacher Awards 2017.
Among the 15 categories up for grabs are Primary Headteacher of the Year, Secondary School of the Year, Student Nominated Teacher of the Year, and School Governor of the Year.
Nikki Baron, one of the event organisers, said: “This event promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s event – we’re very excited about it.”
Sponsors already signed up for next year’s event include: CIoS LEP’s Enterprise Advisor Programme, Cornwall College, Truro and Penwith College, Business Cornwall magazine and the University of Exeter.
The event is once again supported by national publication, Schools Week.
Deadline for entries is December 31, while the awards will be presented on April 21 at Truro Cathedral.
