Nominations have opened for the Cornwall Business Awards 2016, the most prestigious business awards in the county.
Any business based in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly can enter one or more of 14 award categories, which include Best New Business and Best Family Business. There are two new award categories this year – Manufacturer of the Year and Sustainable Business of the Year.
The awards, which are organised and presented by Cornwall Development Company (CDC) in association with Business Cornwall magazine and the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, will be presented at a glittering ceremony at St Mellion, on May 12.
CDC’s group managing director, Arthur Hooper, said: “This will be the 11th year of these awards, which have now become established as the perfect way to highlight the stars of the Cornwall business community.
“Each year that we stage these awards we see the quality of the entries getting higher and higher, which is a testament to the growing strength of our local economy.”
Entries for the awards should be made online and the closing date for entries is March 13.
