The Alverton, has become Truro’s first and only 4 star hotel in the City.
The coveted fourth star which was awarded by the AA, marks a successful first month for the hotel since it revealed a stylish new look as part of an extensive refurbishment programme.
In a double achievement, the hotel’s brand new brasserie restaurant and cocktail bar has also been given the AA’s seal of approval and awarded a Rosette for its innovative menu and use of local produce. The award puts The Alverton is among the top 10% of restaurants in the country and showcases the new but experienced team of Head Chef, Restaurant Manager and Bar Manager, as being a winning combination.
Operations Director, Kearan McVey, said: “We are thrilled to be awarded four star and rosette status and very proud to be leading the way in Truro. Our extensive restoration project and continued investment in customer service is part of our commitment to maximising the visitor experience, and to be recognised for quality in this way is testament to the hard work and passion of the whole team involved.”
