The business, which employs 17 staff at the Pool Innovation Centre, received the accolade at this year’s iNets South West Biomedical Innovation Awards.

The awards, in partnership with Medilink South West, recognise companies that have achieved success in five areas – start up, innovation, growth, NHS partnership and export. TRAC received the growth award.

TRAC will now go forward to Medilink’s UK Healthcare Business National Awards next year, an annual celebration event of the finest organisations in UK healthcare.

Company director, Jonathan Trethowan, said: “We’re delighted to have won this award; it’s great to celebrate the success of south west businesses and we look forward to representing the region at the national awards next year.”

Formed in 2001, TRAC provides independent consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and healthcare companies, acting as a link between clients and government regulatory agencies responsible for medicinal products across the world.
