Frugi takes magazine award

Frugi has been named the best selling British childrenswear brand by leading trade title Childrenswear Buyer Magazine (CWB).

The result, voted for by boutique owners across the country, was revealed in the latest issue of the trade magazine – which is aimed at high street retailers.

Kurt Jewson, who set up the business with wife Lucy in 2004, commented: “We’re delighted to win this award, the business is booming and so any recognition of that is fantastic for the entire team.

“We have big plans to continue growing Frugi over the next couple of years, creating more jobs locally and continuing to develop our range.

“The support we’ve had from our coach Peter Haycocks at Oxford Innovation has been invaluable in getting us to this point and we look forward to working with the team at Oxford Innovation as we face the challenges of driving further growth.”
