The search is on to find the best buildings in the south west.
RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) is asking chartered surveyors, architects, developers and owners of buildings of all types and sizes across the south west to nominate the region’s best construction projects for one of its awards.
The RICS Awards 2010 are now open with anyone involved in delivering outstanding property projects encouraged to submit their entries.
Designed as a celebration of the very best new projects in the built and natural environment, the awards are recognised as the ‘Oscars’ for property professionals. They are free to enter and they cover four main categories: building conservation, regeneration, sustainability and community benefit. One project each year is also chosen to receive the distinguished ‘Project of the Year’ award.
Entries are initially judged by region, with the winners from each category then progressing through to the grand final.
Entries need to be submitted by 22 January 2010 for the 2010 Awards. Details of how to enter can be found by clicking here.
