As part of its continued investment in Cornwall and the firm’s Truro office, leading regional law firm Foot Anstey has recruited four new members of staff.

Solicitors Adam Burrage and Sophie Burrage have relocated from London, having worked in the City for several years.  Both are commercial property specialists and join the firm from Olswang.

Planning lawyer Hanna Virta has also joined the real estate group, as an associate. Virta started her career at Ashurst and practiced in the City before relocating to the south west.

The planning team has grown significantly with the arrival of partner Tim Taylor and Truro-based senior associate, James Clark.  The team advises developers and landowners on planning, highways and compulsory purchase matters and acts for major clients in the house building, care home, retail and affordable housing sectors.

Lastly, the Truro office also welcomes employment specialist, Heidi Clark, who will be advising on the HR requirements that the firm’s broad range of clients have.

James Collings, partner at Foot Anstey in Truro, said: “We are delighted to welcome Adam, Sophie, Hanna and Heidi to our expanding team here in Cornwall. We take great delight in attracting and investing in talent in the region. They will further strengthen our capacity to provide highly valued advice to our clients both here in Cornwall and across the UK.”
