New face at Stephens Scown

A legal expert who has worked on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Cornwall and the north west in recent years has joined leading law firm, Stephens Scown LLP.

Tim Walmsley joins Stephens Scown as a senior associate in its commercial property team in Truro.

He previously headed up the property and highways team at Cornwall Council, dealing with projects including the upgrading of the A30 trunk road.

Other major projects that he has worked on include managing the land acquisition programme for the Metrolink Phase 3 tram system expansion programme in Greater Manchester, the development of the Newquay Strategic Route and advising on a major academy school site consolidation project.

In his new role with Stephens Scown, Walmsley will be involved in major projects as well as advising clients on a wide range of commercial property matters including sales, purchases and landlord and tenant issues.
