Miller Commercial has appointed Thomas Smith as its new head of commercial agency.
Smith joins the chartered surveyor from BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he was a director in its City Office Agency team.
During his nine years at BNP Paribas, Smith specialised in advising funds, developers and private landlords on their property portfolios as well as working closely with numerous blue chip and corporate occupiers advising them on their lease liabilities and their office relocations throughout central London.
He said: “This is a very interesting time for the commercial market in Cornwall which is benefiting from all the recent and ongoing investment into its infrastructure; and therefore an exciting time for me to join the team, and build upon the market leading services they provide to local and national clients.”
