Skinner’s Brewery has recently appointed, Paola Leather as the new production manager on their team. Her portfolio includes Camden BRI, the UK’s leading brewing research centre, and technical and quality manager at St Austell Brewery.
Colombian born Leather moved to the UK where she studied Food Science and completed a post-graduate degree at London Business School. Her career has led her through chocolate companies, coffee companies and back to beer both locally and internationally. After settling back in Cornwall and working as a consultant to the brewery for the past year Leather is now excited to be part of the team.
Leather commented: “This is a great opportunity and a chance to use my experience at a successful brewery. The team have a really exciting vision and they are great to work with.”
Paola is looking at developing tasting events and new recipes as well as ensuring the continued quality and popularity of the award winning brewery’s ales.
