A commercial property specialist with a national track record in retail and construction industries has joined local law firm Coodes.
Solicitor Gary Burns joins the commercial property team at the firm’s St Austell office, and has moved to the Duchy with his family from Manchester, bringing with him a decade of experience in business and property law.
He credits a love of all things foodie, a good work-life balance plus the opportunity to work within a progressive and fast-growing legal firm as his reasons to relocate.
He said: “I was drawn to Coodes as they are a leading law firm in Cornwall with a strong reputation and offices throughout the county, providing the opportunity to work across a broad range of sectors.”
With the commercial property market on the up, Gary advises Cornish businesses to explore opportunities to invest in commercial property.
He said: “I expect the economy to see stronger growth than at any time since 2007.
“Construction activity looks set to grow and predictions are that this will carry on to the high street, which is good news for everyone.”
