Law firm expands corporate team

Following a 30% growth in corporate business over the last year, Stephens Scown has recruited two more solicitors to its Truro office to meet client demand.

Leading employment law specialist Verity Slater has joined the firm as a partner. Slater is well known for her employment law expertise, having headed up the employment team at local firm Follett Stock.

Also joining Stephens Scown is corporate solicitor Kirsty McAuley.

McAuley, who was previously at Coodes, will be working on a range of issues for clients including commercial contracts, partnerships and business purchases and sales.
