The Wadebridge Renewable Energy Network (WREN) has appointed Paul Holmes as its new operations manager.
Holmes joins WREN from the Eden Project, where he worked as sustainable business development manager and more recently, was actively involved in the award-winning European project, Clear About Carbon.
He said: “I had a fabulous seven years at Eden and learnt such a lot; not least about this thing we call the low carbon economy.
“There’s no doubt that the way we generate, distribute and use electricity is changing. Just like the introduction of computers and mobile phones, the low carbon economy will have a huge and positive impact on the way we live and work.
“I’m very excited to be joining WREN to help drive forward their ambitious plans for energy saving and local renewables.”
