Wheal Jane Consultancy is expanding its services following the appointment of a principal environmental scientist.
Phil Costello is a chartered scientist, chartered environmentalist and chartered water and environmental manager with ten years experience in the industry.
His work has taken him around the world, including assessing water quality in Nepal and land contamination on the Falkland Islands.
His role will be to expand the business and continue Wheal Jane’s aim to become Cornwall’s one-stop-shop for environmental consultancy.
He commented: “I’m looking forward to expanding Wheal Jane Consultancy by providing our clients with a full suite of environmental risk assessment and geotechnical services.”
Wheal Jane Consultancy has been providing mining and environmental services to the construction industry for the last 24 years and currently specialises in the assessment of risk from old mine workings and from land contamination.
